Seafood Grill Recipes
You will find seafood grill recipes below. I really think that many seafoods naturally lend themselves to grilling. Sometimes the delicate texture of the flesh requires special treatment but the smokey flavors of the grill really lend themselves to the savory richness of seafood dishes beautifully. Firmer fleshed seafood like lobster, shrimp, shark, swordfish and others can be cooked quite easily right on the grill. More delicately fleshed fish may crumble easily if manipulated too much on the grill but there are ways around that. Cooking indirectly, wrapping in aromatic leaves (grape leaves, banana leaves, etc.), or wrapping in foil can help. There are also special cages that can be used to hold whole fish over the grill to make turning easier. You can find some more suggestions on the How to Grill Fish page. Lastly, using planks of aromatic smoking wood is common and really adds a whole new unique flavor to your recipes. A classic example is salmon cooked on cedar planks. Learn more about it on the Cedar Plank Cooking page. Check back soon because I try to add new grilling recipes often!
