Beef Grilling Recipes
Here are my beef grilling recipes, from basic grilled steak to marinated beef dishes.
Beef obviously lends itself beautifully to cooking on the grill. When most people think of grilling the first thing that comes to mind is a big, fat steak on the grill or grilling burgers. They are old tried and true dishes which will always stand up to the test of time.
A couple tips on grilling beef: One of the most important things about making a good beef dish is choice of meat. First of all, there are numerous different cuts of beef which have their own unique characteristics. But even more importantly, the quality of beef means everything in the flavors and textures of the end product. Always try to get prime meat! Yes, its more expensive, but it is more expensive for a reason… It is better! The flavors, juiciness and tenderness of prime beef will always outshine lower quality beef. This is particularly true if cooking simple preparations that just feature the meat, such as a grilled steak. Splurge for these occasions! For dishes that use smaller cut-up pieces, are stewed, stir fried or marinated for lengthy periods of time, you can get away with lower quality cuts of beef.

|Smoked Tri Tip - This is a simple but delicious smoked tri tip recipe that I threw together recently. It is really quite easy and doesn't take a lot of prep work. The only significant time is in the smoking, which really adds a nice rich, aromatic flavor to the spiced meat.|
|Pan Seared Steak - Yes, I know, the ultimate in a great steak is a grilled steak with all its smokey glory. But if you can't get outside or don't want the hassle, pan searing on a skillet on your stove is an excellent way to cook delicious steak with a nice crusty, seared exterior and a tender, juicy interior.|
