Bathtub Firepit?

Someone was offering an old ceramic coated cast iron bath tub on Craigslist and they suggested making a fire pit out of it. I asked my Honey and he said it was a great idea a long as we first build up a hot fire and then run and take cover cause the ceramic will explode everywhere, after that it should be great!
